A Nourishing Yogurt Bowl with Sea Buckthorn Superfoods

The Glow Bowl is a creamy, tangy, texture-rich yogurt bowl featuring the powerful benefits of sea buckthorn in not one, but two forms, frozen and freeze-dried. Paired with chia pudding, crunchy granola, seeds, and a touch of natural sweetness, this bowl is as energizing as it is satisfying.
It’s perfect for slow mornings when you want to layer it beautifully, or quick ones when you need to toss it in a jar and take it to go. Either way, it’s a superfood powerhouse that delivers lasting nourishment.
Ingredients:
1 cup of your favourite yogurt – Choose a creamy base like Greek, coconut, or cashew yogurt for a rich and satisfying texture.
½ cup chia pudding – Made with 2 tbsp chia seeds + ½ cup milk of choice, soaked overnight until thick and gel-like.
¼ cup frozen sea buckthorn berries – A tart, tangy burst of vitamin C and antioxidants.
1–2 tbsp freeze-dried sea buckthorn – Adds a concentrated boost of nutrients and a beautiful orange hue.
½ cup granola – We love the blend from Nutbar in Toronto for its crunch and clean ingredients.
1 tbsp mixed seeds – Try a blend of hemp and pumpkin for added protein, minerals, and healthy fats.
½ cup fresh berries of choice – Blueberries, raspberries, or blackberries add colour, sweetness, and extra antioxidants.
1 tsp raw honey or maple syrup (optional) – A light drizzle to balance the tartness with natural sweetness.
Instructions:
To Layer (for home or a pretty presentation):
Add a spoonful of yogurt to the bottom of a bowl or jar.
Follow with a layer of chia pudding.
Sprinkle with freeze-dried sea buckthorn.
Add a generous spoonful of granola.
Top with frozen sea buckthorn berries.
Garnish with mixed seeds and a drizzle of honey or maple syrup, if desired.
To Mix & Go (for a quick grab-and-go version):
In a jar or container, add all ingredients and give them a gentle stir to combine.
Top with seeds and sweetener just before eating for best texture.
